I swear I still paint! I know some of you have seen this one in Oakland last summer. It will be in a Sacramento @deltaworkshopsac show I’ve been working on this will be the only sneak peak before the opening on June 8th because I like surprises.
Last night’s Women’s Initiative Gala was amazing. The fundraiser was a huge success. Now I have to make more stuff…
I have been getting rid of all my old art in the last year by selling, donating or cutting it up and turning it into something else. I made these little sketchbooks by printing and sewing onto fabric, vinyl and paper scraps from my studio. The inside pages are chopped down old lithographs and screen prints. Out with the old, in with the new.
I finally had time to make my bags. I dyed and printed the canvas fabric in November and sewed in vintage metal zippers. They’ll be for sale at the SJ Museum of Art Thursday night and later at Sperry Bazaar and in my Etsy store!
It looks like everyone is enjoying this beautiful day. This is pretty much what I’ve been doing. Sometimes I can’t stand my stupid work ethic.
This is the backside of the box. Get everything you need here: jam, marbles, tools and other supplies.
The final art box. The neighborhood wanted an orchard and general store. I decided to paint it from the inside view of the store.
Not a bad Monday at all. I started my electrical box mural on this windy day.
Humans are ridiculous. Black cats are way cheaper at the animal shelter because of superstition. For $25, Oscar has been the sweetest cat you could imagine. Just look at that face.
Brian Eno. On Some Faraway Beach and the B-side of Before and After Science are some of the best things you will ever hear.
